New BMW K1300 line announced

I've seen a few references to the new K1300 line so I went to the BMW site to check it out. Very nice! Hard to believe that this bike is rated at 175hp (R & S models)!

One of the most talked about feature changes is the standard BMW signal controls. Seems BMW is joining the rest of the world and changing from the old two sided controls to all control on the left side. They've also built a new shaft drive for the K13. Hopefully, this will eliminate any of the failures experienced with the K12 model.

These models are due out in the US the first part of 2009. I'd imagine that they'll be at BMW's booth at the motorcycle shows.
